When I dropped off my Bichon Frise (all white dog) on May 2nd she was clean. When I picked her up on May 5th the lady... asked me if I wanted a towel. Towel?? when my dog came out she had poop on her butt. These people didn't even wipe the poop off. The lady said next time you can request a bath (money hungry) is what I say. I didn't drop my dog off with it on her so why would they not at least give her back in the condition I dropped her off in. I would be embarrassed if I was the owners of this place it would have taken all of 5 minutes which it took me after I asked for a paper towel. Ridiculous business practice to NOT return someone dog in the same condition it was brought in. Also, as a new client I didn't understand the bill when I picked up my dog. The young lady was explaining it to me when the black owner (sorry don't know his name and he never bothered to tell me who he was) jumped in to explain it in a RUDE manor. I had calculated nightly fees but they go by daily fees. Not a problem but when a owner says to me "that you don't have to board your dog here" just because I was questioning the bill. This is not good customer service as I obviously know that I have the prerogative to take my dog somewhere else. But to suggest it is bad customer service he obviously doesn't want my business. I hope no one else will experience this type of customer service.read more

Smith Farms Boarding and Doggie Day Care is the best place ever for your fur babies! We had been looking for a place... like this for a long time. A friend recommended them and we checked it out! The facility is so clean and the people are truly amazing with the dogs! Very caring and companionate! My 5- year old girl loves going there regularly and we have also boarded her! PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW - The owner of Smith Farms, Daryl, is rude, condescending, scared of dogs and has no idea what... customer service means. We scheduled boarding with our two puppies and not only did he refuse to board because one of our dogs was overly excited and scared, he rudely refused to board without an apology. We offered to call our vet and other facilities that have boarded them and he decided quickly that he was not going to board our puppies. Since this occurred the day before we were scheduled to go on
Christmas vacation, we were nervous and thought that we would have to cancel our vacation. Fortunately, Critters in Douglasville, GA saved the day. They were very professional and told us how well behaved our dogs were. We understand that business owners have the right refuse service to anyone but this could have been handled differently.read more

We boarded our 3 dogs including one senior lab mix, as well as a foster beagle girl, for 5 days this month while we... were out of town and I can not be MORE PLEASED with the care they received. The facility is clean and well maintained. The ladies, Sandie and Bridgette were so professional and caring. They seem to intutitvely "get" what the dogs need. The proof of the great time that all the dogs had was that they were basically "passed out" on their beds for the rest of the day after we picked them up. They will definitely be back when our travels do not permit us to take them with us.read more
